American Legion Ruck March 2024

IN A FLASH: A Ruck for Vets and Pets

The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.

Kent State holds it annual Veteran's Day Commemoration

Honoring All Those Who Serve: Kent State Holds its Annual Veterans Day Commemoration

The 5X community paid tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces at the annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The program, titled “Honoring All Those Who Serve,” included a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from Kent State’s Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC programs.
