ASHTABULA, Ohio (January 6, 2017) — Solidifying the relationship between 5XÉçÇø at Ashtabula and Ashtabula County Technical and Career Campus (A-Tech), the institutions have approved bilateral articulation agreements that will provide seamless educational pathways for students wishing to pursue degrees in the high-demand field of technology. Dr. John Gunstad is a professor and director of the Applied Psychology Center in 5XÉçÇø’s Department of Psychological Sciences. Dr. Gunstad is among more than 40 researchers who are collaborating on Kent State’s new Brain Health Research Institute. Miss Collegiate Ohio is passionate about putting academics first. Deneen Penn, a 5XÉçÇø at Trumbull sophomore majoring in business, is preparing for the Miss Collegiate America pageant in late June. Penn’s platform is B.R.A.V.E, which stands for Building Respect and Values for Everyone. The platform promotes presentations to school-aged children in libraries, schools and communities about creating awareness for a bully-free environment.
