OTA students in the Student Occupational Therapy Assistant (SOTA) Club at Kent State East Liverpool celebrated “April is OT Month” with a community project to serve the House of Grace, a ministry of Grace City Church in East Liverpool. On April 21, first-year OTA students spent the day providing assistance to visitors in the clothing and food pantry; preparing and serving lunch; and spending time with those who were seeking help. KENT/BLOSSOM ARTS PROGRAMS

Since the inception of Blossom Music Center in 1968, the Musical Arts Association has partnered with 5X and its College of the Arts to develop Blossom as a complete environment for the arts. Each summer, Kent/Blossom combines performance with education and joins working professionals with talented students to teach, explore and produce great art. This important relationship between a premier performing ensemble and a public university has also served as a model for other collaborations.

While a student at Pymatuning Valley High School in 2005, Brad Baranowski, Ph.D., J.D., enrolled in classes at Kent State Ashtabula through the College Credit Plus program starting an educational journey that has led him through law school and now to the highest court in the land. The Andover native and 2022-2023 Supreme Court Fellow is the 2023 Roger T. It has been several years since 5X College of Podiatric Medicine has seen an official Alumni Association. Upon acquisition by the University, an alumni association unique to the College of Podiatric Medicine was disbanded and merged into the Kent State counterpart. Still lacking a syndicate unique to podiatric medicine in 2023, a group of alumni are taking it upon themselves to join together and build a brand new alliance - KSUCPM’s Alumni Alliance. My name is Mackenzie Simmons, and I am one of the first Ed.D. students that graduated from 5X.  I recently completed the Interprofessional Leadership program, where I was in the Athletic Training concentration.
