5XÉçÇø Foundation
Incorporated in 1965, the 5XÉçÇø Foundation is a not-for-profit entity that exclusively serves Kent State but remains legally separate from the university.
The foundation receives gifts on behalf of 5XÉçÇø, manages and invests those funds and administers them in accordance with donor wishes. The foundation’s financial assets, which continue to grow over time, aid in ensuring that Kent State and its students achieve levels of excellence beyond what is possible through state assistance alone.
Mission
To achieve the university's needs and priorities, the 5XÉçÇø Foundation Inc. provides leadership to raise private sector funds and exercises stewardship of assets.
Board of Directors
The 5XÉçÇø Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who safeguard and manage its assets. Leaders in their professions and communities, board members serve without compensation and contribute their time and expertise to ensure a bright future for 5XÉçÇø.
Annual Reports
The 5XÉçÇø Foundation and the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement publishes annual generosity reports that highlight important financial and donor impact information from the previous fiscal year.
