Our on-campus Discover Theatre and Dance Visit Days are free and open to all current high school and transfer students.
Discover the vibrant, creative and inclusive community we have here at the School of Theatre and Dance! You’ll start with a tour of our Center for the Performing Arts, followed by program sessions and specialized classes that give you a hands-on experience. We’ll take a break for lunch, then dive back in with workshops and extended learning options. The day wraps up with a Q&A session where you can get your questions answered by our faculty and student ambassadors. Students that have registered should meet in the Roe Green Lobby at the Center for the Performing Arts (1325 Theatre Drive) a few minutes early.

Matinee Performances
The School of Theatre and Dance invites you to attend their newest production this Fall! This performance is open to all students interested in Theatre, Musical Theatre or Theatre Design Tech.
Performing Arts Open House
This event will allow students and parents the opportunity to learn about the programs that Kent State's School of Music and School of Theatre and Dance have to offer at their own pace! Students can come and go as they please!
Students will have the opportunity to sit in on classes and experience firsthand what it takes to be a student in the performing arts. We’ll also have opportunities for guests to perform with some of our ensembles and take part in Q&A’s with our students and faculty. There will also be an opportunity to take part in an audition workshop to help prepare them for any upcoming auditions, whether for a school production, the next step of auditioning for a music or theatre program, or even professional auditions.
