There are a number of ways to become involved in the growing field of healthcare. If you are uncertain of what area you would like to work in, lists many job titles along with the basic job requirements, required education, and medial salary.
Honestly assess what you would like to accomplish in your professional life should you enter the health care field. Also, consider your strengths and interests. Do you want to:
Major in whatever you enjoy and excel in! Though the majority of health professional schools will specify the coursework required for admission, most schools do not identify a preferred undergraduate major. Visit our “Choose a Major” page to learn more.
You may be able to use the credit hours earned in workshops to renew your license. We recommend checking with your local professional development committee (LPDC).
Enrollment in a workshop may allow you to claim a Lifetime Learning Tax Credit or other educational deduction. Consult your tax adviser for details.
If we have to cancel a program, we will notify you immediately. You may transfer to another workshop or receive a full tuition refund.
Our refund policy conforms to university policy. Refund amount depends on contact time elapsed.
In workshops offered for both graduate and undergraduate credit, additional work is usually required for graduate credit. If you are enrolled this semester in other courses or workshops as a graduate student, you may enroll in undergraduate courses but you will be assessed graduate-level fees.
*Non-Ohio Residents: The non-Ohio resident fee is waived if you are taking workshops only this semester. If you are taking classes in addition to workshops, the non-Ohio resident fee is required.
Registration for workshops will be available until two weeks before each workshop start date. Please enroll as soon as possible, as workshops may be cancelled if enrollment is low.
