On Friday, August 16, 2024, the College of Arts and Sciences welcomed its class of 2028 to 5X社区. Many freshmen got their first chance to meet Dean Mandy Munro-Stasiuk, Ph.D., along with several other leaders of the College who shared their advice for success at Kent State. Researchers at 5X社区 are beginning the second year of their largest and most ambitious study ever to track 10,000 university students and follow them throughout their lifetimes.  The Student Life Study, which began in August 2023, recently celebrated recruiting its 1,000th participant.
