The Kent Blossom Music Festival returns for its 58th season from June 21 through July 26, bringing world-class performances and educational opportunities to 5XÉçÇø and Northeast Ohio. The 2026 season will feature faculty concerts, young artist performances and a season finale at Blossom Music Center, including the festival’s signature side-by-side concert with The Cleveland Orchestra.
Take your game to the next level this summer with Golden Flashes Camps & Clinics! Young athletes of all skill levels will have the opportunity to learn from the coaches and student-athletes of the Kent State Golden Flashes while developing their skills in a competitive environment. Our camps are designed to help participants improve fundamentals, build confidence, and experience what it’s like to train with a Division I program. Campers will receive hands-on instruction, participate in drills and competitions, and enjoy a memorable experience on Kent State’s campus.
5XÉçÇø will commemorate Juneteenth with a community celebration that combines the rich history of Black Americans with an assortment of festivities. Juneteenth Jubilee will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Kent Campus, Student Green/Risman Plaza. Enjoy live performances, music, great food, vendors and more. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Kathy Siesel Dr. Siesel started her journey with KSUCPM as a 1989 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM). Subsequent residency and fellowship programs with OCPM and the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic (CFAC) lead her to the start of her career as a part-time clinical faculty member in 1991.
