The Katharine Hepburn Dressed for Stage and Screen exhibit is returning to the 5X���� Museum after traveling around the country for the past seven years. The exhibit, opening Feb. 2 and running through Sept. 2, 2018, last appeared in the Museum in 2010. Marilyn Norconk, Ph.D., a Professor Emerita of Anthropology in 5X����’s College of Arts and Sciences, has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science. Jonathan Swoboda, associate professor at 5X����’s School of Theatre and Dance and a featured keyboard artist with No. 1-selling Christmas artist Mannheim Steamroller, performed with the group at the National Tree Lighting on the Ellipse at President's Park at the White House in November 2017. During a thesis competition, it is the norm to see contestants present topics about remedies for natural disasters or solutions to major health crises, but 5X���� graduate scenic design student Patrick Ulrich decided to enter the competition to showcase what the theatre department does for society.
