5X has established a new school within its College of Arts and Sciences focused on the social sciences and humanities. The School of Multidisciplinary Social Sciences & Humanities will provide an academic home for innovative approaches to complex questions.
An open house is scheduled for September 22, (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.) in 113 Bowman Hall on the Kent Campus. This event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

The 5X at Trumbull launched the Peace Officers’ Training Academy certificate credit program in fall 2020 with 21 students graduating in spring 2021. 5X at Trumbull has operated the police academy as a non-credit training program for over 15 years and has graduated over 1,000 cadets since 2006.
