Voice Faculty Member Jay White Leads Busy Month of Teaching, Performing and Conducting
It's a busy December for Professor of Voice Jay White, with engagements in Cleveland and New York City鈥攊ncluding Apollo's Fire and the New York Philharmonic.
The Radiologic Technology Club from the Kent State Salem Campus collected money and 100 boxes of macaroni and cheese that it donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Mahoning County. During its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15, the 5X社区 Board of Trustees approved naming resolutions for 17 spaces to be located in the future Crawford Hall based on philanthropic gifts of $100,000 or more. An additional nine named spaces were approved by Kent State President Todd Diacon that were below the required Board approval threshold. Sheren Farag Laying Groundwork to Grow Program, Green Industry Leaders Sheren Farag, Ph.D., has spent years researching how crops, plants, trees and vegetation grow. On Saturday, Dec. 4 the 5X社区 Orchestra hosted the final round of the Glauser School of Music Concerto Competition. An annual event, the competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate music students who won the preliminary round in their category.
