Kent State Players and Coaches Pack Meals in Boise, Idaho

The first showdown of Kent State's offensive and defensive units ahead of Tuesday's bowl game came not in pads and helmets but in hairnets and aprons. The two sides did battle in a competition to feed the needy by working together to package as many meals as they could in a one-hour period. Kent State Golden Flashes Arrive in Boise Ahead of Tuesday's Bowl Game

Four-plus hours by air, traveling 2,046 miles due west, and Kent State has arrived for its second bowl game in three seasons. The Mid-American Conference Eastern Division champion Golden Flashes (7-6) will take on Wyoming (6-6) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. (EST). The game will air on ESPN and the Kent State Radio Network. Having arrived in Boise, players and coaches will now begin their final practice sessions ahead of Tuesday's game. Recently, the chic Dear Irving on the Hudson lounge at New York City’s Aliz Hotel was transformed into a space of celebration and reconnection for Kent State School of Fashion alumni and faculty. The event marked the first alumni event in more than two years, as the School begins preparations to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023. Over 100 alumni, all working and living in the New York City area, attended and had the chance to catch up with each other and beloved faculty mentors.
