Student Organization Manual

All students and student organizations are responsible for sound fiscal management, observing federal, state and local laws and Kent State policies, as well as meeting minimum academic requirements. It is important for you to know that student organizations are accountable and are held to these expectations. Please look through the Student Organization Manual [PDF]:

  1. Within KSU Engage log in to the  with your Flashline credentials.
  2. Complete your profile as a new user of the KSU Engage platform.
  3. Click on the Hamburger menu in the upper left corner and select Organizations and then click "Register an organization."
  4. Click "Register a new organization."
  5. Follow the steps to complete the registration process and submit.
  6. Once you have submitted your registration, it will be sent to a staff member in the Center for St

Registration Requirements

  • The FlashLine ID (email) and contact information of a minimum of three (3) officers that meet the following requirements per university policy: 
    • Student must be an active, enrolled 5XÉçÇø student.
    • Student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.25.
  • All student members, on the executive board or general membership, are required to be currently enrolled students and to have completed the required hazing training: .

Online final grading for Spring 2023 Full Term (POT 1), Third 5 Weeks (F3), Second 7 Weeks (W2) began on Monday, May 1, 2023, via FlashFAST and grading is also available for any Spring 2023 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Sunday, May 14. Any final grades for Spring 2023 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow.
