Kent State Trumbull's Honors students collaborated with Trumbull Satellite, a student-run multimedia digital magazine, to collect and deliver dry goods, canned foods and personal items to the campus Care Closet and Food Pantry. Parents and Families Engagement is an initiative that connects and informs parents, families, and supporters through networking, programming and communications to ensure their students’ success.
The annual Kent State Salem Undergraduate Research Conference showcased students’ research projects in a variety of topic areas and allowed them to share what they learned through discussions with the academic staff. The conference is held each year and is open to all undergraduates in any discipline and in any for-credit course on any Kent State campus. Students in Kent State’s Multicultural Living Learning Community in Wright Hall had the opportunity to get to know a different culture through food at the Cooking with Culture event, hosted on Dec. 8, 2023. The event's goal was to create a sense of community with the attendees and culturally affirm their identities through a guided discussion revolving around food and culture.
